An Ultrasound Probe Repair Service Based in China

We are Akicare, a Shenzhen-based workshop that repairs diagnostic ultrasound transducers for hospitals, imaging centres and equipment dealers worldwide. This site publishes what we know about probe failures — model by model — so you can judge a repair before you ship anything.

What we repair

Our repair scope covers the parts that actually fail on diagnostic transducers. Each area has a diagnosis guide on this site explaining how the fault presents and whether it is typically repairable.

Lens & membrane

Delamination, scratches, holes and disinfectant damage on the acoustic face.

Cable & strain relief

Jacket wear, broken internal conductors and the strain relief that fails first.

Connector

Bent or broken pins, damaged locking hardware and cracked connector shells.

Crystal & array

Element dropout and acoustic stack faults — assessed case by case.

Housing & sealing

Cracks, dents and seal failure, including endocavity fluid ingress.

2D / 3D / 4D heads

Including mechanical volume probes and TEE probe damage.

How we work

Assessment before commitment

Every probe is judged on its actual condition, not on its model name. You get a written answer on repairability before anything is agreed.

Model-level records

We keep 3,011 catalogued references across 43 manufacturers — 1,978 probe models and 1,029 biopsy guides — tied to 691 host ultrasound systems. That is how a request stays matched to the exact unit.

What we ask you for

A photo of the complete model label, a description of the fault, the console it runs on, and photos of any physical damage.

What we do not claim

We are an independent repair service. We do not claim OEM authorization or universal compatibility, and we do not quote a repair we have not assessed.

Inside the workshop

These are our own benches in Shenzhen. Probes arrive, get assessed against the fault the customer described, and are worked on by hand — lens, cable, strain relief, connector. The photographs show where that work happens; they are not customer records.
